Der Autor über seine Arbeit: My work explores the relationship between consumerist fetishism and romance tourism. With influences as diverse as Camus and John Cage, new tensions are manufactured from both mundane and transcendant dialogues. Ever since I was a pre-adolescent I have been fascinated by the essential unreality of the universe. What starts out as triumph soon becomes corrupted into a cacophony of greed, leaving only a sense of what could have been and the unlikelihood of a new synthesis. As spatial forms become reconfigured through studious and diverse practice, the viewer is left with a testament to the limits of our existence.
