Management in Education has garnered increasing attention within educational policy, exploring various aspects such as organizational development, innovative projects, school administration, and strategic planning. This focus is reflected in five university courses developed through a collaborative EC project involving institutions from Europe and Latin America. Five members of the Alfa-network on 'Management in Education' share their universities' experiences with these courses, which form a significant part of M.A. programs in education. While the courses share a common theme, they vary in objectives, content, teaching methods, and target audiences. Each author utilizes a set of evaluative categories to reflect on the course processes, their impact on students' career prospects, the understanding of the university's role, personal development as educators, and potential research directions in this complex field. Despite their diverse university contexts, the authors present a range of solutions for integrating management in education into dynamic new programs. The contributors include Eeva-Liisa Kronqvist (University of Oulu, Finland), Iris Erazo Tabora (National Pedagogic University Francisco Morazán, Honduras), Lennart Wikander (University of Uppsala, Sweden), Dietmar Waterkamp (Technical University of Dresden, Germany), and Gustavo Hawes (University of Talca, Chile).
