Confederate Yankee Book II

Set against the backdrop of the Civil War, Major Elder Byrch Stuart embarks on a critical mission to assess Virginia's readiness to join the Confederacy, following the surrender of Fort Sumter. Accompanied by Sergeant Major Jesse Thompkins and a former student, Big Jim Porche, they investigate a mysterious incident in South Carolina before continuing their journey across Virginia.
