The book explores the relevance of dissociative identity disorder (DID) within the Filipino context, challenging the notion that it is solely a Western phenomenon. Based on a pioneering study in the Philippines, it investigates normal dissociation, dissociative symptoms, and traumatic experiences among Filipino students using both quantitative measures and qualitative interviews.
