Shadow Horse

Set against the backdrop of the American South, this story follows a Zulu man, forcibly taken from his homeland by Portuguese slavers. Known as Sam due to the slavers' inability to pronounce his real name, he endures the harsh realities of cotton picking in the Tennessee Valley. However, his indomitable spirit drives him to escape, embarking on a journey westward to reclaim his freedom and identity. The narrative explores themes of resilience and the quest for liberation.
