Mr. Dixon Disappears

The story revolves around Israel Armstrong, a well-meaning but overly curious librarian who becomes embroiled in the mysterious disappearance of Mr. Dixon, a member of the Ulster Association of Magicians, along with a large sum of money. As he navigates his newfound status as a prime suspect and attempts to clear his name, he also seeks to uncover clues from an exhibition of local photos. Along the way, he finds potential romance with the charming barmaid Rosie Hart, adding a personal twist to his investigative journey.
