This study investigates the concentration levels of essential trace metals (Fe, Cu, Zn, Co, Se) and non-essential metals (Hg, Pb, Cd) in the edible muscle tissues of various crustacean species. It assesses bioaccumulation using the Metal Pollution Index to evaluate these organisms as bioindicators of pollution in the Mediterranean Sea, Red Sea, and Arabian Gulf, ensuring seafood safety. Significant variations in metal levels were found based on species, sex, and environmental conditions.
