Gateway to the Moon

Set against the backdrop of 1492, the narrative follows Luis de Torres, a Spanish Jew who becomes an interpreter for Columbus while secretly preserving his faith. His descendants journey across North America, eventually settling in New Mexico. Five centuries later, Miguel Torres, an amateur astronomer, grapples with the mysteries of his hometown, Entrada de la Luna. The story intertwines themes of identity, heritage, and the quest for understanding in a landscape rich with historical significance.
