Educational Inclusion

The study explores the experiences of five upper primary male students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their support systems in Queensland, Australia, emphasizing the challenges of inclusive education. Through semi-structured interviews with students, parents, and teachers, it reveals the difficulties these students face within mainstream schools. The findings highlight the necessity for a tailored educational model to effectively address the unique needs of students with ASD exhibiting challenging behaviors, advocating for improved interventions in inclusive settings.
