Gideon Smith and the Brass Dragon

Set in a vibrant, steam-powered 19th century London, the story follows young Gideon Smith, who becomes a Hero of the Empire after witnessing extraordinary events. His quest to rescue Maria, a mechanical clockwork girl kidnapped by the Texas pirate Louis Cockayne, leads him on a thrilling adventure across the American colonies. With a fantastical brass dragon at stake, Gideon faces the tyrannical rule of the mad King of Steamtown. As he battles to reclaim Maria and the dragon, he also seeks to win her heart.
