Assyrian Discoveries

Focusing on the archaeological endeavors at Nineveh during 1873 and 1874, this work documents the significant findings from these excavations. Initiated by the 'Daily Telegraph,' the project received support from the British Museum to continue the research. The second expedition aimed to maximize the time permitted by the Ottoman firman, with the author tasked to conclude the excavations within the stipulated timeframe. The account highlights the historical and cultural importance of the discoveries made during this period.
