The Carnivore

Set against the backdrop of Hurricane Hazel's devastation in 1954 Toronto, the narrative follows Ray Townes, a young cop celebrated for his heroic rescue efforts, and his wife Mary, a nurse grappling with doubts about his actions during the storm. As Mary encounters a mysterious woman with unsettling memories from that night, her suspicions about Ray grow. Decades later, a reporter's inquiry into the events of that fateful night threatens to unearth long-buried truths, challenging the couple's relationship and their understanding of heroism.
