Nipper was sad when his old pal, Dusty, moved out of town. He barely ate his meals. He wouldn't play, and he wouldn't go for a walk. His owner was so alarmed that she brought him to the vet. The vet found nothing wrong with Nipper, except that he was lonely and would probably want company.Missis, his owner, brought different dogs from the shelter, but Nipper just couldn't find a suitable friend. Nipper then decided that if he wanted to have a new playmate, he had to look for it himself. He then set outside through his secret hole-in-the-fence and found a good friend in the most unlikely place.
