I hope, if you find time to read my fishing memoirs, that you find they are very similar to experiences that you had--fishing, golfing, boating, camping, or what have you. Nothing earth shattering, no records set, mostly a lot of good clean entertainment with friends and those you love or loved. If you start reaching back, I hope you will find your memories, particularly those involving your immediate family, as pleasant as were mine. Also, I am sure you will notice that the author is not the world's authority on grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, etc.--but, Hell!, if you wanted that you would have gone to the next aisle for Grammatically Correct! As it is, I might entice you to say, "Hell, I can do that!" and you will join the world of authors, too.
