This is an original, provocative study of the foundations of Special Relativity. It is unique in the fact that it is the first book that examines the basic perceptions that resulted in the formation of Einstein's Theory of Special Relativity and of Maxwell's Electromagnetic Theory of Light. It contains a detailed discussion, in a careful, scientific manner, of each of the principles involved, in a form that is easily understood by persons with no scientific training and only high school mathematics.
