Wieder ein Buch, das mich sehr gut unterhalten konnte. Bartimäus war mir ein weiteres mal unglaublich sympathisch, die Welt konnte mich wieder komplett abholen, Nathanael ist immer noch genauso verzogen, wie man ihn kennt, und Kitty war ein sehr willkommener Neuzugang zu den Perspektiven. Ich fand sie wirklich super, und habe ihre und Bartimäus Sicht ähnlich gerne gelesen. Die Story war ebenfalls wieder spannend und konnte mich abholen, und insgesamt bin ich auf jeden Fall froh, dass ich die Reihe aktuell weiter gelesen habe (und noch lesen werde) als Band 1, denn bisher habe ich wirklich viel Freude an sowohl den Figuren als auch allem anderen. Stroud ist immer so ein wenig hit or miss für mich (nicht, dass ich total viel von ihm kennen würde, aber das was ich kannte war bisher immer hit or miss), und Bartimäus zählt eindeutig in die bessere Kategorie. Ich werde auch diesmal nicht sofort mit der Reihe weitermachen (denke ich), aber spätestens nächsten Monat wird der letzte Band sich bestimmt an einer weiteren lesenden Person erfreuen dürfen, und ich freue mich auch schon darauf.
