In Tunnels of Blood, Mr. Crepsley is summoned by the Vampire Generals, prompting Darren and Evra to leave the Cirque and accompany him to the city. There, Darren meets Debbie, but his life as a Vampire's Assistant takes a dark turn when corpses drained of blood are discovered. Suspicious of Mr. Crepsley's secretive behavior, Darren and Evra follow him, leading to a confrontation with a deadly creature of the night that threatens them all.
