Focusing on the anisotropic behavior of SMC composites, this work combines modeling and experimental methods to explore their macroscale characteristics while considering microstructural influences. It investigates temperature-dependent thermoelastic behavior and failure mechanisms, determining material properties through experiments. The study also includes experimental biaxial damage assessments, with a parameter identification process that integrates both modeling and experimental data to validate the findings.
