FROM THE BACK Faithful to the doctrinal tradition of the Orthodox Church, The Mystery of the Trinity reflects the thought of the Eastern Fathers from the time of the Apostles to the end of the Byzantine era. The theology of the Fathers cannot be separated from public prayer, and it is in liturgical creation that they have expressed the common faith of the Church in the most authentic, living manner. The mystery of the Trinity unfolds, therefore, in worship and the sacraments.
