Deb Lund ist eine Kinderbuchautorin und Kreativtrainerin, die vor allem für ihre beliebte Dino-Serie bekannt ist. Nach zwanzig Jahren als Musik- und Klassenlehrerin sowie Grundschulbibliothekarin gründete sie später eine kleine Kunstschule mit. Lund unterstützt Schriftsteller, Lehrer, Künstler und Studenten durch ihre Website, Blogs, Weiterbildungskurse und ihr Coaching. Ihre Arbeit schöpft oft Inspiration aus dem ständigen Erstaunen und der Inspiration, die sie in ihrem Leben mit ihrem Musiker-Ehemann und ihren drei Kindern findet.
