Well-known 'Farmer John' Greenslade wrote a successful memoir 'Twas a Proper Job' of his life as a Devon farmer, conservationist and broadcaster in 2010. Over the next ten years as work on the farm and conservation projects progressed, he was persuaded to record the further triumphs and setbacks of life in rural Mid Devon, at Way Farm.
