Meichi schafft die Webcomic-Serie Barely Functional Adult, die sie 2015 begann. Von ihrem Zuhause in Vancouver, British Columbia, aus erstellt sie Comics und erzählt unsinnige Geschichten. Ihr erstes Buch, Barely Functional Adult: It'll All Make Sense Eventually, ist voller kompromittierender Kurzgeschichten und wurde im November 2020 veröffentlicht. Sie äußert einige Besorgnis über dessen Veröffentlichung.
