Focusing on the social representations of the teaching profession, this study explores the perspectives of novice teachers at the Federal University of Pernambuco in Brazil. Organized by Marcella Thaiane de Lima Silva, it is divided into three parts: an overview of existing research on novice educators, a theoretical framework addressing the teaching profession and social representations, particularly through Doise's societal approach, and the presentation of research findings and conclusions. This work aims to engage students, teachers, and educational researchers.
