Focusing on the interplay between civic values and democracy, this study explores how these values contribute to citizenship construction. Utilizing a qualitative methodology, including focus groups and interviews, it identifies key elements of Lasallian philosophy—human quality and sense of belonging—as essential to citizenship development. Additionally, it highlights significant aspects of the United Nations For All program, such as discourse and friendship cultivation. The findings reveal a positive correlation between students' perceptions of democracy and the theoretical concepts underpinning the research.
