Analyzing Venezuela's housing policies from 1999 to 2013 reveals a complex landscape of achievements and shortcomings. The national government implemented a robust regulatory framework and utilized public funding for various housing initiatives. While there were successes in housing production and infrastructure development, significant weaknesses emerged, such as the policies' short lifespan, inadequate response to housing deficits, and lack of urban integration. This work emphasizes an interdisciplinary approach, incorporating insights from public housing managers to enhance understanding of these policies.
