THE WIDOWS MIGHT will stir up the voices, strength and the authority of the widows, and those that love them. Widowhood brings an authority and power that can only be produced from death. Just like in salvation, there is a life (ZOE) THAT can only come through the conduit of death. John 12:24 says "...except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit." There is much fruit that comes after death. We see throughout scripture, particularly in the new testament, that the widow was commended for her faithfulness (Anna), her giving (Widow with the might) and her tenacity (luke 18:1-8). There is a tenacity, a proper perspective on life, things, and an attitude of "nothing else to lose" that can empower a widow that decides to walk in their God ordained season. Even when it looks as if everything has fallen apart, God establishes the border of the widow. God promises to be the judge, jury, and the witness on behalf of the widow. Out of death----there will be life. Widows arise!
