Forces of nature are eternal, moving in unison yet apart. Long ago, these forces sought to control their destiny, leading to chaos: fire blazed uncontrollably, water surged, wind howled, and earth erupted. Nature cannot destroy itself, only transform. With the emergence of time and space, a war between light and dark ignited, intensifying when the Creator formed the Earth. Every thousand years, both the earth and humanity underwent cycles of transformation, spanning seven millennia. During these cycles, the balance between shadow and light shifted. The shadow, ruled by dark magic, unleashed creatures like Ogres, Wyverns, and Soachim to spread chaos, driven by greed for power and dominion. In response, the Creator bestowed the Light of the First Mother, a connection between humanity and the heavens. She allied with the Original Giants and Dragons to combat the darkness. While her bloodline fought valiantly, she foresaw that some descendants would succumb to shadow. The Light was embodied by the Tree of Life and safeguarded by the Order of Petals. As the Seventh Age approached, the struggle intensified, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance. AE 781 marks a pivotal moment in this ongoing battle.
