In this book, Elisheva and Roni Mechanic, two Messianic teachers, consider the subject of the International Messianic Jewish movement as well as drawing together some of the artists that have given artistic expression to its developing range of artwork. Christian, Jewish and Messianic Jewish artists have illustrated the life, identity and work of Jesus the Messiah and some of these portrayals have been included in this book. We have also included other genres of art in the section on Messianic Jewish artists.Elisheva is a keen photographer and has built up her own collection of photographs of travels to many places and of artwork in many galleries. She is also the author of several books including the latest, The Temple in the Gospel of Mark, (2022) . Roni is an artist, theological educator, writer, conference speaker and Messianic Jew. Roni studied Industrial Design at the Johannesburg School of Art and Design. He also specialized in graphic art and fine art painting.
