Richard Hooker (* März 1554 in Heavitree (seit 1913 Stadtteil von Exeter), Grafschaft Devon; † 3. November 1600 in Bishopbourne) war ein englischer, anglikanischer Theologe. Er gilt mit Thomas Cranmer und Matthew Parker als der Mitbegründer der anglikanischen Theologie. In seinem zweiten Treatise of Civil Government zitiert John Locke Hooker mehrfach. Sein Patronatsfest als Heiliger in den Heiligenkalendern der Church of England und der Episkopalkirche der Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika ist der 3. November.
