Eines der besten Bücher, die ich seit langem gelesen habe. Die ganzen Familiendynamiken sind extrem gut und realistisch geschrieben, sodass man sich an manchen Stellen die Tränen verdrücken muss, und an anderen sich einfach gut fühlt. Auch die Beziehung zwischen den beiden ist unglaublich schön zu lesen und gibt einen nachvollziehbaren Einblick in die Gefühlswelten zweier Jungs, die sich in den 80ern in Texas ineinander verlieben. Das ganze Gefühlschaos, was damit einhergeht ist, geht einem sehr nah und regt zum nachdenken an. Ich würde dieses Buch immer weiterempfehlen.
