Lyra's Lament

The anthology „Lyra’s LAMENT„ is the unabridged text of the three original volumes „ Environment“, „War“ and „Arrived“. Lyra’s grandmother Elisabeth, born in 1859, deceased 1932, visits her granddaughter Lyra 2010 in a dream and takes her on a trip into the world hereafter. She knew that Lyra was searching for the missing links of her family chronicle. Now Lyra was herself one of them, an immortal shadow, she hovered with and among them, being able to transfer herself into any time and event. But she was obliged to also report the distress on earth. Her journey went back as far as 79 AD and looked at subjects such as environment and war, as both of these issues can’t be isolated from her family’s history. Lyra’s access to immortal shadows already exists a long time, as a young woman she had first experienced contacts. As well, she experienced help in painting. A series of surreal artworks originated, among them the book coversof the German editions of the Series “Lyra’s Lament” and also “Where will you go”.
