Táto kniha ma zaujala svojím príbehom. Napätie pretrvávalo až do konca knihy. Čo sa týka záveru, bola som prekvapená. Spomína sa to aj v druhej knihe Zlomený elfí kráľ. Je to zaujímavé a zábavné čítanie, prečítala som ju na jeden dych.

Páčilo sa mi že hoci je kniha zo série, príbeh hlavných hrdinov sa začne aj končí v tomto prvom diely. Čítala sa veľmi ľahko, bola som milo prekvapená. Angličtina bola jednoduchá, vety jasné, zreteľné.. zhltla som ju aj po anglicky :-).
