From the author: My ambitions for 'Artisanal Slush' are to celebrate the everyday things that give me joy. I would describe this pamphlet as ‘camp’ in that it blends and blurs ‘high’ and ‘low’ culture, it doesn’t take itself too seriously. I want these poems to make readers smile and think and wonder what exactly a ‘self’ might be in the 21st century and all the things we do to escape it.'
