The child's voice in My Patio takes you along a path that describes things outside their home like succulents, bougainvillea, Buddha statues, sea glass, wind chimes, butterflies, and lizards, and imagines many different possibilities about what the reader may have where they live. My Patio offers young readers the opportunity to think beyond their experiences and use their imagination about what else is out there in the world.
