Sam is a ten year old boy with a mess of blond hair. He could really use a haircut, or so his nan says. He lives with her since his parents divorced. He is a bit of a loner, having only his football as a friend. That is until Jess and Meg move in across the street. They hit it off straight away and become good friends.
