A wonderful memoir of Tegan and Sara who wrote alternating chapters about their upbringing in Calgary, starting a band and finding their sexuality. Someone in the foreword stated "I would have liked to read this under the blanket with a torch as a teen" - and that's how I felt. It describes the challenges of teenages kids, but at the same time I couldn't help but feel like their memories were wrapped in a veil of comforting nostalgia.
