Maggie Messina understands that knitting soothes the mind and soul. She visits sisters Holly and Rose Piper to teach them simple stitches, joined by the Black Sheep knitters. Dana Haeger, who has known the sisters since childhood, is particularly worried about Rose, who struggles with anxiety after a past car accident.
