In 2016, Cornelia Schleime (b. 1953) received the Hannah-H�ch-Preis of the State of Berlin for her life's work, connected with a retrospective at the Berlinische Galerie.The exhibition and this accompanying catalogue provide insights into her work from the 1980's until today.During her studies in Dresden, the artist was part of a young art scene that formed as a counter movement to the official art doctrine of East Germany.
