This publication "Dischronie. Fashion beyond contemporary phenomena" represents the evolution of the previous one that appeared in 2012, "Discronie. Fenomeni del contemporaneo nella Moda e nel Design" ("Discronie. Contemporary phenomena in Fashion and Design", published by Alinea, Florence), the natural evolution of theoretical-critical reflection and academic practice matured for more than twenty years are condensed and refreshed here, choosing to explore exclusively the areas specific to Design for Fashion. The methodological approach is the result of continuous experimentation, thanks to which the comparison with the national and international scene takes place; the choice of grouping into categories the many creatives who regularly practice their profession, based on research, design and implementation practice, is put in place, even if many doubts remain, often the result of their "misplacement".
