Dancing in the Dark

The story follows Johnny McIver, a small-time crook whose ambitions lead him to cross paths with gangland chief Sonny Tarrant, resulting in dire consequences. Accused of a murder he didn't commit, Johnny finds himself on the run amidst post-war Bournemouth holidaymakers. As he navigates panic and desperation, he grapples with the harsh reality of his situation, realizing the dangerous game he's involved in could ultimately lead to his doom.
