Aepyornis Island

The story follows Butcher, a collector's employee, as he searches for rare Aepyornis eggs in a Madagascar swamp. Accompanied by two local assistants in a canoe, they probe the muddy waters for these precious finds. Tension arises when an assistant is bitten, causing one of the discovered eggs to be dropped, which adds an element of danger and unpredictability to their expedition.
