Invisible Bridge

Set in the late 1950s, the narrative follows Francis Deng, a prominent law student from the Ngok Dinka tribe in Northern Sudan. Despite being one of the few Southern students, he emerges as a class leader, showcasing his dignified presence and linguistic skills in English and Arabic. Encouraged by peers, he embarks on a journey to explore and document Dinka customs, marking the start of his lifelong commitment to writing about his culture. The story highlights themes of identity, leadership, and cultural heritage.
