The Army started a military operation against the Taliban when they challenge the writ of the State. The press role was important to show the real picture to the people and to be objective to report the War on Terror however, the case was different. Media around the world generally support peace and played a responsible role to show the solution of the issues adopted multi-featured approaches. While in Pakistani press play the role of war journalism more than peace journalism and adopted the approach of focusing on the war than the peace.
