FOLLOW ME ON I am a Black woman poet; the declaration/clarification is necessary. But where and who I am now is not where I started 10 years ago. Locations, loves, lessons-everything changed.In the last decade, the song of how this Black woman held it down and held on became a battle-cry instead of a lullaby.
