Ich habe dieses Buch bereits zweimal gelesen – in zwei verschiedenen Sprachen. Es ist für mich ein echtes Meisterwerk. Wenn ich „Arc de Triomphe“ bewerten müsste, würde ich sagen: Es ist außergewöhnlich. Die Geschichte entführt den Leser in eine andere Welt und ist in einer wunderbar poetischen Sprache geschrieben. Ein Werk, das lange nachhallt.
